moving to UK this summer-Leamington,warrick area

Hello everyone....just wanted to thank everyone who gave me advice on our look-see trip earlier this year.  My husband Keith and I will be moving to the Lemington Spa...Warrick area.  We have two daughters staying in the states going to school at Indiana University, but we will be making the move with our dog (Max) and cat (Mr. Kitty).
Now that the decision has been made there is an icredible amount of "stuff" to think about and do but we are really excited about this relocation. 

We have been living in Dallas for the past 4 years, lived in the Indianapolis area prior to that.  I grew up in Wisconsin and my husband in Illinios (Go Illini).  Anyway, would love to get to know some of you if only by email or message board.  This site so far has been a wonderful resource of information....I love it.

Hi Sandy. I live in Coventry, Warwickshire. Im a ten min drive from Leamington Spa. I love Warwickshire and wouldnt live anywhere else. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Although we only saw a small area of the UK I fell in love with the countryside around warrick and Leamington Spa.  Hopefully we will be over and settled early summer (that would be June here in the states).  It looks like living close to Birmingham good be a good thing....but let me know about Coventry for shopping etc....may be no reason to necessarly go into Birmingham.  Anyway, thanks for the welcome.  Oh, and by the way, love the ticker tape on the bottom of your post LOL

we did look at some converted barns they were interesting.  We have a dog that needs a bit of a yard so we may need to look outside of town.  Where abouts did you live... I have my trusty Great Britain and Ireland Motoring Atlas something tells me it will be my constant companion for quite some time.  Please, if anything comes to mind that you would like to share wtih me about the area let me know.   Thank you  Sandy J
