people/places/things that will be missed

My ex husbeast refers to England as a "third world country". He's coming next weekend. Hope he forgets to get his vaccinations!

Just a question on vaccinations:  are adults required to be vaccinated to visit?  I thought the most recent CDC report says there are no outbreaks warranting vaccinations for travel to UK.

Actually I was just being facetious. I'm pretty sure you don't need vaccinations upon arrival to the UK but I could be wrong. I was just saying my ex considers England to be a third world country so he should be vaccinated as if he were actually going to a third world country. 

Oh, okay, thanks.  I still don't get why you hope he would forget to get vaccs he does not need but I'm running on a few hours of zzzs and not very with it!   Been trying to figure out a Guardian cartoon all morning, too.

Because if he were in a third world country and wasnt vaccinated then there would be at least a small chance he could pick up some deadly disease and be out of my life forever! 

... and lets not forget the humourous folk (  ) who like to accuse the UK of being a 3rd world country.

I severely miss......

1) Sunshine!!! The rain and clouds get so depressing.
2) Friendlier, cheerier people (in general)
3) Houses all being unique and interesting (different colors, shapes and sizes) with nice backyards
4) Driving; wider roads
5) Not feeling like the outsider
6) Family & friends - people who really understand me and know how to relate to me (culturally, etc.)
7) Marshalls and places where clothes actually come cheap (I miss good clothes shopping!)
8 ) More space
9) Convenience and GOOD customer service - people seem to care more about doing their jobs well
10) Things being more affordable.

fresh  herbs being readily available..
certain rarer  fresh veggies being readily available
people who  'get me'
my favorite TV shows..
