Smug newlywed mode
« on: March 24, 2005, 11:58:10 PM »
My English husband (what a GREAT word!) and I were married on March 16 and are happily setting up house in northwestern England.  I can't even begin to describe how happily married I am.  I feel like we are in a secure little cocoon of love and happy feeling right now.  My wedding day was truly the happiest day of my life, and each day seems better and better.  I feel almost corny with how pleased and smug I am!   ;D

There's nothing corny about being happy!

Congratulations!

Congrats...I look forward to being a newlywed (smug or otherwise ;)) myself.

Where in NW England are you?  We're getting married in the Lake District (near where fiance is from).
