I've read a lot of posts from people who have/have not gotten approved for this, but still am not quite sure what to expect over the next few months (except self-obsession over the whole thing.)
I fed-exed the application and (thanks to the heavenly fed-ex tracking system) know that the application was received last Wednesday. I also know (thanks to my heavenly online banking system), that they have not charged my credit card yet for the application cost. I'm (hoping) this will happen next week.
But after they charge my credit card...what then?
The application has a section that asked for your email address so they can give you a reference number? I'm assuming they email you pretty quickly once they receive your application.
Also, I have an offer letter in waiting. I've included the actual offer letter (and copies) in my documentation, but think its a good idea to fax them a request to expedite, any ideas when I should do this? The start date is June 20 (not that that will probably make a difference). Also, when the response finally does come back (do they tell you what the reasons are if you get denied...I've already started having nightmares about this day.
PS...Im kicking myself. I qualify for the 65 points and am only 3 months over 28. I could have applied a year ago and made qualifications for the under 28 program...but I didn't know. Ugg.
