Getting through to Liverpool PEO by phone
« on: April 27, 2005, 02:19:16 PM »
I have been trying to call them for days, just to see how far in advance they are booking appointments. The line is always busy. Has anyone got through to them? Is there a time of day when it's best to call?

Hi Sweetpeach,

I had the same experience with the Birmingham PEO.  It took me three days before I finally got through, and that was after being on hold for what seemed like ages!

So keep perservering - you will get through eventually!

Almost forgot -

When I called they were only taking appointments for the first week that they had an open slot, which was about two weeks in advance of my call.  They would not take any appointments beyond the Friday of that week.

That's what I'm trying to find out about Liverpool. I don't get married till June, and my fiance visa doesn't expire till July. I just don't want to make an appointment at the last minute and find that they're booked for a month, meaning I don't get my appointment till after I've overstayed my visa.  I'd rather make the appointment as soon as possible, even before I'm married,  just so I have an appointment before the fiance visa expires, then deal with the marriage certificate and all the other paperwork after I'm married, but at least have the appointment scheduled.  It seems to me that, based on the fact that the phones are always busy, there are loads of people making appointments.
