Leaving family.....
« on: April 25, 2005, 03:34:28 AM »
How did you guys deal with leaving close family behind? I'm really close to my two little cousins (11 and 12). They're going to the airport with my mom and I, which is a good and bad thing.. I'm glad that they can see me off, but I'll be sobbing as I go through security. I didn't think about how hard this will be. Did you cry when you went?

I know we'll be fine... It's like, I won't see these people half as much as I do now. I know going is right, and I want to do it.. I'll just miss the little buggers.

When I left, I requersted no one but my dad come to the airport, and he only got to come because he was my ride. For some reason saying goodbye at an airport seems so much sadder and harder, while saying goodbye at home seems more like a "see you later" kind of thing. Either way, it isn't easy. :/
I'm done moving. Unrepatriated back to the UK, here for good!
