Schools in Docklands - London
« on: May 23, 2005, 04:58:51 PM »
My wife and I are planning to move to London next year, probably around June.
We have 2 children who will be 5 and 2 years old at the time of the move.
I have done some research on real estate and kind of liked the properties I saw for sale in the Docklands area in London as they seem to be newer and more affordable than your regular London property.
However, I have not been able to find any specific information about schools in that area, even in the upmystreet website.
Does anyone here live there? If so, how are the schools there? It seems odd to me that so much money would have been invested to recover a region like that but then they would fail to invest in the neighborhood schools... Is this supposed to be an area where young, single professionals live or is it family-friendly as well?

Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
