Methods of payment in-person
« on: May 25, 2005, 03:06:15 PM »
So now that, thanks to some very helpful people on this forum, I've decided to do the whole sha-bang in person next week, what methods of payment does the NYC consulate take? I'm sure this info is somewhere, but I can't find it. I assume money order (made out to whom? for exactly how much?) or.....? credit card? certified check? cash?

I know they take cash, cause that's how we paid.  They also took credit cards -- Visa and Mastercard I know for sure.

I did fast track  and paid by credit card.

They had a Visa/M/C sign up at the payment counter.

Excellent! Although I'm nervous right now, this process is soooooo much easier than the torturous US visa process.  :P

I was nervous too, and right where you were a year ago!  Don't worry, it's not bad and a lot of us have been through it before!  If you have not read Lola's Visa story, you should, that is what got me through it all! ;D
