Thanks Everyone

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to say thanks to those of you who have posted and or responded to posts via this forum.  Once I decided to move to London, I spent many hours reading the archives and it totally paid off.  Within 3 weeks of being here, I rented a flat, opened a bank account with HSBC without difficulty and even qualified for a credit card.  Granted I had a job so it made the process easier -- but none of that would have happened if I hadn't follows the guidance given here.  So thanks everyone.  I won't be completely settled until my things arrive from the US (hopefully by the end of the month), but I am feeling good about my decision to move here despite the expense of it all.
