I want to record audio streaming from this website that plays my favorate tunes (www.digitallyimported.com). I have total recording proggie but dont have a clue how or even if it would work.

First off, is it techincally possible to record audio streaming from that website into .WAV files to listen via mp3 or as .wav files on the internet or any other means for that matter ?

I have tried to google for info but nothing..

Hi Zu,

I googled too and got an extensive list of links. The one I think might be of most help is How to record streaming audio - this site looks very comprehensive. To record streaming audio, you'll need a certain piece of software and apparently this site reviews several programs for that purpose, in addition to detailed how-to instructions.

Hope you find what you're looking for.

If you are recording shoutcast stations (mp3 streams), try stationripper.com

Just an FYI, most music distributed for steaming purposes via stations like DigitallyImported.com (di.fm) are copyrighted... by "ripping" the streams, you are copying copyrighted material.
