HE GOT IT!!! and blooming heck, was it ever EASY!!!! All that worry and stress for nothing. We were in line for about 10 mins, both went to the window and when Wyatt handed over the passports, he asked if we were married, asked for the application form, marriage licence, divorce papers, bank statements, proof that we were employable (CV's), proof that we had somewhere to live and did not ask ONE SINGLE question!! Did not ask for photographs or proof that we lived together, nothing like that at all. I had so much paperwork and was ready for anything as well.
He said to Wyatt that he only needed one passport photo and to keep the other one for his driving licence and then handed us a slip of paper with a number on it and said 'come back in about an hour an half to pick up your visa'
The Interview date was OUR choice! I did it all on line - went to their website and had a choice of 8 days (they only book them at 8 days at a time you see), so we only had to wait just over a week once I had booked the date! I paid for the interview online as well - $520 and thats it! No medical, no police certificate, no birth certificates..sooooooooooooo easy it was and Wyatt's had this huge grin on his face since we got it.
Thanks SO much for all the information and help you gave me, it was a HUGE help

We even managed to get him booked on the same plane as me....so the 28th June I'm going home!!!! and bringing my hubby with me
