soft ball

I thought I would pass this on. There might be some interest.

During the summers the GLSML (Greater London Softball Mixed League) runs development nights. These nights are intended to introduce the game to new or beginner level players, and provide an opportunity for more intermediate and experienced players to play a game or two with a new team. The end goal is that a new team (or teams) will form out of these evenings and join the league next season.

Sessions are held at 7pm on Monday nights (see schedule below) and we ask that everyone who attends contributes £2 each time they go. These funds go towards the league fees for the new team(s) who enter next season. So essentially - you'll be funding yourself! We also have three or four experienced players who come along to help, provide coaching tips, and play in the games. Additionally - there are 3 London Softball Federation training sessions being held which are open to anyone in softball.

Please pass this along to anyone you know who might be interested. The evenings are open to everyone - and equipment is provided for those who do not have it. Just show up dressed to play! (e.g. trainers) Sessions run rain or shine, unless it's absolutely pissing it down.
