Silly me; here I was charging her for mine.  ::)

LOL, well, yeah, actually, at the shop, we charge nothing for the advice anyway - that's always free.  And, what you said about the eucalyptus oil is correct, and what you said about nasal sprays.  My sister was addicted to them for years; they're bad news.  I like the Olbas Oil brand, which has eucalyptus oil in it along with other menthol carrying oils to help open up the sinuses.  That, and Potter's Life Drops, too.  They work quickly to open up a stopped head naturally, using capsicum, elderflowers and peppermint.  It's also very soothing for a sore throat.  The capsicum (in other words, cayenne) stimulates circulation, the elderflowers are anti-catarrhal (a decongestant) and the peppermint oil is antimicrobial.  It's good to use when you want quick relief of symptoms.
I was born in the Summer and at Night...my mother named me AUTUMN DAWN.  True story.

EMAIL or PM me for information about gigs or about booking me (solo gig) or the band.

Correction - the stuff my chemist gave me is Dimotane Plus.  (Had to look at the label here at home!)

echinacea - it's good stuff.  Took it in Boston all the time...never hardly ever got sick...even with working with kids and going on public transport!  Love it.

So Kristi...how ya doing?  Hope you are better!

Went to the GP today.  Can't take anything because it's viral.  Meh.  Boots chemist didn't know anything about Dimotane.  I got some Sudafed and just have muddle through.  I have more energy than I did last week but I'm still not back to normal.  I hate being sick.

thanks for asking after me :)
Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its doors as early in the spring. Cultivate property like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old; return to them. Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts…

Don't know if it makes a difference that I go to my neighbourhood chemist - the one who probably isn't getting kickbacks from the larger pharmaceutical companies.   ;)

I could send you my Dimotane, Kristi!   ;D

Thanks peedal!  I think I'll be ok in a few days.  Maybe I'll pop into my chemist on the high street and see if they have it.  It's so teeny though.
