Pimms

Is No 6 the one they sell/market around Christmastime as 'winter' Pimms?  (Just wondering.)

No 6 is vodka-based, so I wouldn't think so. It doesn't taste particularly Christmas-y.

Most enlightening!  I do say that the Pimms & champagne has piqued my curiosity a bit.

Thanks for all the suggestions.  I couldn't remember if there was anything printed on the bottle and the internet was a little too daunting to deal with this weekend.  Now I just have to cross my fingers and pray that the local liquor store still carries it!

So yesterday on the beach, my friends and I drank pre-mixed Pimm's & lemonade in cans! Just like beer cans! Very convenient! However, I think they add too much lemonade -- too sweet for me. I like mine a bit more Pimm's-y.

I GOTTA try Pimms! Last night I was watching BB and they were given a few pitchers of pimms. Looked so nice with chunks of fresh fruit in it!

ikk i didn't like the canned ones....it's the only pimms i've had...so i'm hoping when you mix it yourself it's better.

if not, then i'm not a fan.  

It's definitely better if you mix it yourself (or have it mixed at a pub) and definitely best in a jug with ice and lots of fruit and mint, not made by the glass.

Well, thanks to this discussion, I had my first tall glass of Pimms and lemonade at the pub for lunch yesterday. May I say........it went down VERY well!!!!!!!

With another scorcher due today, I may have to go buy a bottle!

Absolutely better when mixed yourself. It's just so easy to pop some cans in a cool-bag and head to the beach!

It seems to really affect me, too! Maybe it's because when I'm drinking Pimm's, I'm usually in the sun and that makes it feel even more potent?

For me I think it's because it is deceptively refreshing, so I don't realize that I still need to hydrate myself.  I always seem to drink TONS of water the next day!
