Agencies?
« on: June 29, 2005, 02:44:03 PM »
Good morning / afternoon all -

My first UK job interview is fast approaching (July 4th) but good old pessimist that I am I'm not holding out any hope that I'll get it.

I've been applying primarily through job sites such as reed.co.uk but was wondering if anyone had a good listing of agencies I could register with? It seems like most people have had good success landing their first UK jobs by using agencies. Any recommendations, particularly for the South?

i used:
Joslin Rowe (LOVED them-a guy named Stephen Bell was a gem-he was finance though so depending on your role and field you get different people)

Hudson was great, a really professional group

I had a LOT of crap ones.....i'm trying to think of a few more.....

JR is pretty london specific but i think hudson is broader

Hi-

Good luck with your interview!!

One question, are you speaking with the agencies from the US or are you already in the UK?

Thanks-

Karen

It might help if you tell us what type of job you are looking for. Agencies sometimes specialize in different fields.
