Yep, the side-street one and the station one are the same - Bagel Factory. I think Subway opens at 7? Although I usually stop on the way home to decompress a bit before the kid-mania begins.

So what time do you think Subway may be open until in the evenings at the station? I was surprised to see they were closed on Friar at 6:30pm?

On another note, if you want a decent bagel, believe it or not but the Sainbury's in the Towne Center has decent ones (unlike Tessco where they are just bread made to look like a bagel). Get some Phily cream cheese and some smoked salmon if you like it and its just as good as the Bagel Factory on the Reading side street).  ;)

I'm sure they're open til at least 5:30.  6:30 does seem awfully early, I agree! Ooooh, I know what you mean about Sainsbury's bagels - not shabby!  Early enough in the morning and they're fresh and hot, too.  Are you in Reading, Jules, or just find yourself out this way often?
I know I'm late - where's the booze?

We live in the Towne Center! Good and bad....the good part is we are close to everything!  :) The bad part is we are on the pathway for the yobs on their way home from the pubs on the weekend....car completely vandalized beyond repair a few months ago.   :-[

Yikes!  More hooliganism. Heh, that word always cracks me up - it sounds so . . . OAP.  It's just as bad out here in the boonies, though. We're about 10 South of Reading and every Saturday night something happens down at one of the local pubs. Haven't had our car vandalized, yet, though, touch wood.  Hope your premium wasn't too high!

Hooliganism.....yes it makes us sound old doesn't using that term...lol   ;) As for the car....it was used (8 yrs old) that we bought when we moved here...didn't want to "commit" (me) to a more expensive car since we don't use it enough (luckily are commutes are pretty local).  Totally trashed and got hardly anything for it (basically a week's worth of groceries) so we had to buy another used car....for the remaining time that we are here. Hubby is ultra paranoid..always checking it on the weekends.

As for Subway..I still haven't had one since I don't leave work in time to get there!  :\\\'(  Oh well, we we go back to the states for a visit....I will go to a real deli and get the best Italian cold cut! Looking forward to it!  :D

Still, having to find and buy another car is a real pain in the a$$.

Yeah, I'm a bit surprised about Subway - seems they *should* be open for longer than 5:30 (maybe 6 but I can't say for sure).  Hope your trip is soon so you can satisfy your cravings!
