Library edition?
« on: July 13, 2005, 01:29:45 PM »
I am looking into the new Harry Potter and they have deluxe editions, regular and library editons. It stated what the deluxe edition was and I have bought the regualr in the past, but what is a library edition? Nothing was posted on the websites to state what it meant.

Maybe it comes with a mylar cover to protect it? Just a guess?

It refers to the type of binding.  Library editions are hardcovers with the artwork printed directly on the cover; there is no paper sleeve.  Saves libraries the trouble of having to keep sleeves from getting ruined.
