credit in the uk

Just curious as to whether or not you use your US credit to establish UK credit. Does your credit transfer per say ? Is it hard to establish credit in the UK?

No, it doesn't. You have to start from scratch.... It took me six months from the time I set up a bank account with direct deposit. The bank (Halifax in this case) started me out with a card cash account - no overdraft or cheque guarantee card. After six months of my paycheque going into it, they upgraded my account to one with an overdraft & guarantee card and gave me a separate credit card with a smallish limit.
