student registration - start of the year

Will I need my passport and visa for class registration? I need to send it off for my provisional and the dvla is backed up about 3 weeks or so and I won't have it back in time for class most likely if I send it off this week coming. I will probably also call the school, but I wanted to know what everyone else has experienced that has done uni here already.

I've never shown my passport at school - they've never even asked to see my spousal visa!  I'm pretty sure you'll be fine. My uni allows postal registration - if you're even vaguely worried maybe you could just do that - they should include a list of things you need to register....
