What to do with an eight year old?
« on: July 24, 2005, 03:19:43 PM »
I've got a week in August with no teenagers and am trying to think of somewhere to take the eight year old.  Any suggestions?  We usually do self catering but are thinking of upgrading to a hotel because it's only one child.  We're also toying with the idea of Disneyland Paris but don't know how cheaply we could do that.  Or does anyone know of any nice family type hotels near the seaside in the UK? :)

Disneyland Paris is my specialty! If you want to take a car you can stay at the Davy Crocket Ranch not a too bad price.

I quoted someone yesterday for the 8th of August for 5 nights 2 adult and 1 child at the Sequoia Lodge no travel and it was over £1050...but that includes your room, park tickets into both parks..and a huge breakfast...

I have been about 8 times and we love it so much we have bought shares.....We usually stay in the Newport Bay.

If you want PM me and I can give you somemore details about the parks...
