Western BBQ

OK Peeps........

I need some help........

Every year we have a HUGE BBQ at our house (which everyone is invited to IF you want to travel over to the IOM)

This Saturday my house!

Last years was Pirates of the Caribbean.....This year it is "Cowboys and Indians"

I need some recipes and idea! I kind would like to have everything cooked or almost when ppl start arriving.....

I thought about........

Fried Chicken and mash taters....and white gravy
Chuckwagon chili.......made with proper chunks of beef.........
Cornbread
pintos beans..David wants BBQ beans made with baked beans......

I have an American smoker so I was going to smoke a brisket and a chicken
and then for pud i was going to make a peach cobbler and a pecan pie.........

I think I need more entrees.........there is going to be about 30-40 ppl here......PLUS David's mom and sister are Veggie and also her kids........I have no problem with being Veggie but she has raised them from birth to be veggie.....But she is another story I could start a WHOLE new thread about one day..!!!! in grievence!GRRR

I went out yesterday and bought the kids and when I say kids that includes David......toy guns that make pow pow noises.........oh yeah.........NOT........

Next years theme is Hawaiian Luau.........I found a box at Woolies that has all the decorations in it!

Sounds like you'll have enough to feed an army!! But if you're concerned about the vegetarians, we always like veggie chili! And since you're already making a meat one, you're halfway there.
