I haven't checked out those schools, but I will definitely do that. It certainly would save a lot of money in many ways. I've never gone only to school, so in a way I would like to be able to concentrate on full-time studies, but the savings may just be too great.
I don't like the online classes, but go there a couple of nights a week would be just fine. I assume you would have to drive, or can you take public transportation from outside Edinburgh to Glasgow. If I go to school there, I may move there initially though.

EU residents pay home fees.
EU/EEA dependents pay home fees.

At least that's how it is at Durham.
So, MrCoffee qualifies for home fees, even though neither one of us is from the UK. (one can get the dependent visa entry clearance if you say you're moving to the UK with your EU national spouse).

You can drive or take a train or bus.  VERY easily accessible by direct routes.

It's worth checking out, b/c fees can vary.

I like the trains, so hopefully that could work. I wouldn't miss the mandatory driving that we have here in the States at all!

I'll be sure to check out of those schools so I can compare.
