VAF1 form questions
« on: August 09, 2005, 07:29:55 PM »
I was just looking over the VAF1 form.  I am really worried.  It says to list where you'll be staying.  What if you dont know yet?  Also I am in a bit of a complicated situation.  I am unemployed here in Sweden and have been for a long long time.  My husband (the EU cit) has a job, however due to us living on one income there really isnt much money left over to save.  How big of a problem is this going to cause for us?  It's precisely this employment situation (among other things) that is driving me to want to move.  I am afraid they will refuse me.  Plus, will he be required to fill out the VAF1 form as well even though he's the EU national?  And lastly what about kids?  I have a 10 year old that is a permanent resident with me in Sweden.  Do I fill out one for her?  ??? Thank you for your help!

You wouldn't be filling out the VAF1 form, it's the wrong form.  And to your previous post, High Commissions are missions within the Commonwealth and don't have to do with anything relevant.  So you're going off on the wrong tangent.

You want the EEA1 Family Permit.  I suggest calling the British Embassy in Stockholm - 671 3000 - and try to get through to Karen Farley (x3023).  Karen is the Vice Consul there and should be able to get you sorted...
