Hi all,
After 9 days of stressing out, I got my passport with my new EC visa stamp in it. This visa is for a Highly Skilled Migrant Programme (HSMP). I mailed it express to the consulate in LA on 8/1 and received it today, 8/10. Here is what I submitted:
1. Completed VAF1 form printed from online e-fast track;
2. 2 passport photos (white background);
3. My HSMP approval notice;
4. My bank statements for 3 months, just printed online with bank balance showing only;
5. Payroll history chart from accounting dept at current job that covered one year back;
6. Job offer letter;
7. 2 week reservation at hotel;
8. CV/Resume
Note that I was freaking out about getting questioned on the bank balance statement printed from online. My credit union is in another state and I didn't have time to get it signed or verified by a teller. I didn't receive any confirmation emails or phone calls. From other feedback it seemed the NYC consulate does the confirmation emails, not Los Angeles.
Thank you all for your helpful feedback. I'll see you all in London!!!!
