Keep your number
It's a bore when you change your phone number - all that ringing around to friends and relatives can be very time-consuming, especially if you get caught up in long chats! And writing to everyone can be a real chore, too. Thankfully, when you switch your line rental to Onetel there's no need: you keep your old number.
It's hassle-free
Because Onetel uses the same phone line as your old supplier, you don't have to waste a day staying at home waiting in for an engineer to call round. Also, we take care of the transfer for you, and we even contact your present supplier on your behalf. Once you choose to rent a phone line from us, there's literally nothing more you need to do.

Onetel is owned by Centrica plc, which also owns British Gas. We have been operating for more than ten years now, and we're known and trusted by over 1.7 million customers in the UK.
Choose Line Care Levels
These are levels of care that you can opt for to give you extra peace of mind. If there's a problem with your line, BT will respond to a fault report either by the end of the next working day or within four hours, depending on the Line Care Level you choose. You can set your Line Care Level in the My Account section after the service has been activated.
About the switch to Onetel
When you switch to Onetel, you don't need to contact BT. We'll contact them on your behalf and ask them to switch your service over to Onetel. The transfer takes 14 days and BT will send you a final bill. After that, you will receive no further bills from BT but from us instead. If you request line features from us as part of your order, these will become active after your line rental goes live.
The bundle they offer is by far the best I've found searching the internet. Any input?
