Visa Application Questions
« on: August 11, 2005, 01:26:55 AM »
I printed my VAF2 Form from the computer and have a few questions I hope you can answer for me.  In Section 7, it asks if I had ever been refused entry to the UK and another question is have I ever been deported, removed or otherwise required to leave the UK.  I was refused entry on my second visit because the immigration official did not think I would return to the US.  Do I answer yes or no, or yes and no respectively?  Another question in Section 6 asks if we will receive  income from any other sources, ie friends or family.  His parents have agreed to help us financially if need be as we have few savings.  Is that what they are asking?  Will I also need a letter from them, along with bank statements?  And, although we both have children from previous marriages, his do not live with him, and mine will not be with me or joining me.  Do we still list them as our children?  Also, they ask where I intend to live when I arrive in the UK.  Do they mean permanantly, or do I list a temporary place?  So many questions, so few answers!  I hope you can help again!  Thank you!
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

For section 7 you answer yes, since u were not allowed to enter the UK at the airport. You must state they denied u entry,if u dont that might cause problems.  For section 6,I believe that is only for a regular source of income, like if they give ur fiance money each month, not for "in case" you need it situations. If your children arent coming with you then no there is no reason to put them on ur application form. If you are living someone temporary when u get there you will need proof of that, for example if u are staying with his parents u will need their lease and a letter from them stating they are ok with u staying there, and if you have proof of where u will be living after that, show that as well. What I brung was a letter from his mum,her lease, and a copy of a completed rental application he filled out for a flat
