How often do you weigh yourself when dieting?

I'm such a bad, bad girl. I'm totally obsessed with weighing myself every day. I've been doing cardio 5 days for 30 minutes, but my scale hasn't budged. But, my clothes are fitting looser. Could I possibly be building muscles in my legs. I need help! I just can't stop weighing myself.
Any suggestions?

You are so not alone in obsessing about it, Texasgal. I try to do it only once (or twice, at the very most) a week ... but the temptation is usually too strong!

It will take more than 5 days of cardio for your weight to change.  I would give it about 3 weeks, assuming you keep it up.  Make sure you are doing at least 30 minutes of cardio within your target heart rate.  Also, the diet makes a world of difference.  You will gain muscle in your legs, but your fat will burn much quicker and your weight will generally go down.  Keep us posted on how your progress is.

once a week at WW..........

None of my floors in my house are level enuf for scales.......

I get obsessive, sometimes weigh myself more than once in a day  :-\\\\ but lately I had been pretty good at weighing just once or twice a week. That was until silly me used the scale as a step to reach something on my shelf and cracked the plastic window part... so it's out of order! Now I weigh myself in anyone's bathroom that has a scale and wonder which one is right! According to my broken one I weigh 40 pounds, yeah right, just waiting for my head to fall off!!!  :P I find it helps to have weekly weigh ins with my friend who is also trying to lose weight, then I am not as compulsive about it.
