The girls in the test group who did the detox regimen were drinking this awful looking stuff that looked like greenish-brown sludge for breakfast (I think it was spinach, onion, garlic & who knows what all). :-X

I didn't see it, but a friend did and told me all about it. Blech. We both decided we'd much rather eat a nice dish of cooked spinach and onion without having it liquidized. Ugh. Reminds me of the "Bass-o-matic" on SNL! (am I showing my age?)

We bought a blender (Morphy Richards Heavy Duty Glass Blender 48425) about a month ago to make smoothies and it works really well!  It's extremely powerful and blends very quickly.  We got ours through Argos (with Nectar points) but I see that it's also available through Amazon.

Thank you :)

OMG you guys are making me crave these so bad now!  I don't have a blender and don't really want to buy one that i'll just have to sell or give-away in a few months but oh man these sound good!
