I'm sorry, quiche just triggers the B-52s for me.  8)

What about adding a few tasty things to the scrambled eggs? Chopped up tomatoes or peppers or bits of bacon or ham or grated cheese?

Try quiche lorraine, Cait. That's got a bit of cheese and bacon in it but no veg. Beware of the economy ones though. They often have onions which lots of kids dont' like (and isn't in a true quiche lorraine anyway!).

It may sound a bit insane, but if you want another hot cereal option, try Grape Nuts. They are very filling so I'd probably try 1/2 cup dry, put in a sauce pan with about 1 cup milk. Cook until the milk is absorbed ( I also add a dab of butter and some raisins). Serve with more milk poured over and whatever sweetener you want.

Now I'm hungry after reading this thread!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon
