For those planning to submit an FLR(M), please note that if your appointment or submission date is on 15 Sept or after 15 Sept, you'll need to use the new form. We already knew the current form was in deficit when they replaced it last spring. The only question was when they were going to fix it. The cut-off date is 15 Sept.
If you use the old form, it does not mean you'll be refused, it means they will give you one of the new forms to fill out johnny-on-the-spot, hurry-up mode - and that usually gets people flustered, error prone and so on.
So a friendly tip: use the right form during the transition. 15 Sept. Got it?
And always bring a black-ink pen with you in any event!
