Filling out FLR(M) Form and have some questions...
« on: September 02, 2005, 04:45:01 PM »
I'm currently in the UK on a fiancée visa which runs out Oct 1st. We just got married Aug 13 and I've made my appointment to go to Croydon in person for Sept 13th. I've just started filling out the application for the spouse visa and some of the wording is confusing me!

Section 1
1.4  "Home Office Reference" - is this the reference number I was given for my appointment? Or something else entirely?

Section 4
4.1  The house is owned by my husband, not me. Is he a relative or other?

Section 5
5.1  Is Entry Clearance my fiancée visa or something different that I won't have? (Fiancée visa is the only thing I have)
5.2  What the heck is a Certificate of Approval?
Am I to assume that because I don't know what these things are that I don't have them?

That's all. I hope you all can help me! I've already had some questions answered just by reading through everything.

TIA  :)

Entrance Clearance is your Fiancee Visa, and since you had one you wouldn't have needed a Certificate of Approval.

Okay I've figured out what the Home Office Reference is and I don't have one. All that's left is the home owner, which isn't as important as the others...

Thanks! Yeah, I'm seeing the same type of documents we needed for my fiancée visa, should be a breeze  :)

Just so you know, the (M) FLR is going to be a piece of cake, since you already answered the questions.
