Filling out the GSCC....

has anyone filled out the GSCC registration? how long did it take before a response? did anyone fill it out only to have it returned?
any tips or insights will be so appreciated. i am being interviewed by reps from the london borough of merton (are there any social workers currently working in merton?) next thurs (sept. 22) in nyc. i am an LMSW looking to work in London and would love to touch base with other social workers.

You are probably better off posting this on "calling all social workers" under "on the job" I believe.

It took 4 months April-July for my GSCC to clear and it was sent back once to have another signature.

It is my understanding that you can still accept employment with a GSCC number "pending."
