Short temper
« on: September 15, 2005, 07:37:55 PM »
Since my third trimeser (I'll be 35 weeks on Monday) I've been short tempered so bad. I've never been this bad before, even with PMS. The smallest things just piss me off whether it be one of my SIL talking too much or Dale being silly,  I don't yell or anything I just suppress it and hold it in because I don't want to take it out on them. But I just want to scream.
I know mood swings are normal during pregnancy, but I never had it until now. Anyone else have this problem this late during pregnancy? or am I just a b*tch? lol

Oh lordie, you are not alone!!! I was all over the place!!!! Unfortunately, after having the baby, I was even worse. P.P.D. set in, and my hubby was just the best thing. Everything was so unfamiliar to me, my life took a total u-turn, and I didn't know who I was anymore. But my son is two now, and he's the best thing that ever happened to me. Somehow, it all goes away.......and I just concentrate on him. Get through it, it's worth it, no matter how you feel right now. As the saying goes, And this too shall pass..............

yeah I had the same problem ..I was in S. London and trying to get to ante natal checkup always meant a blow up with the bus driver because of one thing or another ...which sent my bp up and then I ended up being admitted into the hospital for overnight obs...I thought it was my Puerto Rican temper but it's just hormone imbalances that wreak havoc on your emotions

Hugs.  Drink Hot Chocolate.  Go for walks.  Watch Neighbours.  You're in the home stretch now.

Maybe your nesting. Have you been doing a lot of cleaning lately? When I was nesting with all my sons I would get really bitchy and nothing was clean enough. It hit me around 34 weeks I believe.

LOL the other day Dale and I were walking back from Tesco, I bought a sub. As we were walking back,he got us lost so I kept hitting him over the head with my sub cause I was pissy about it.
. We just stopped and started laughing our butts off about it after awhile .
..................my sub was ruined :(

I find myself making a lot of trips to the charity bin as the time draws nearer.  Clutter gets on my nerves at the best of times, but when I'm pregnant I'm ruthless.
