Consulate Phone interview?
« on: September 23, 2005, 01:43:50 PM »
Good morning,

I received a call from the NY Consulate's office yesterday, I was informed that on this coming Tuesday I would be recieving a phone call from a consulate who will conduct a formal interview via the phone, I was told this process would take about 20 minutes...

I wonder if any of you have had this type of interview and if you would be willing to explain what kind of questions I can expect?  I was told this will be the final factor in the process that this interview will determine if the will issue me a settlement visa,  so as you can imagine I am very nervous..

thank you in advance

Cella

Hi Cela, when I was applying for my spousal visa, I had one of those calls as well and basically it was nothing but they briefly went over my application and asked nothing special, just things which I had already answered on the application and it actually took only a few minutes and that's also when they informed me I was approved and getting my visa in the next fews days.  ;D  So I honestly dont think you will have any worries about it all. Good luck!  :-*

Thank you!!!!!  you Little Evo have calmed my fears alot..my imagination always gets the best of me and I been thinking like this interview was gonna be a scene off the game show  Jeopardy where they ask a question, the music plays and if I dont answer it right in a short amount of time I will lose..lol
