Your education and your CV
« on: September 19, 2005, 02:58:48 PM »
I've been strongly advised to put my education on my CV, which is something I'm sure I mentioned... Anyway, for some off the wall reason I didn't bring my SAT scores and I don't have a clue what they were. I emailed The College Board people asking how I get hold of them. I left them at my mom's but since she's 8 hours behind, and bought a new house, getting in touch with her has been really difficult. I don't know if I'll be able to get them in time. There's a job I really want to apply for, and I really don't want to miss it. I don't know what to do and I don't want to not ever get a job because I don't know what my grades were.  :-\\\\

I've never put my SAT scores on anything over here....you should be just fine without them.

if you went to uni/college then i wouldn't worry about them.  i've never had a US or UK employer ask.  SAT's get you into Uni, besides that they're useless. has your prospective employer asked for them specifically?

If you harbour bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.

I was going to call the one I'm applying for now, but Jamie told me I need my education on the CV.

Yeah, so put your high school and/or college info on your CV -- where you went, when you attended, what your degree is in, etc.

No need to put any SAT or test scores on your CV.  Just college or university education will be sufficient.

A UK employer probably would have no clue what the SAT is, anyway.
