Does anyone understand the essential differences between local preschools, international schools, and American schools in London? My son is 3 and will need to enter preschool once we move to London (that is, if they allow students to enroll in the middle of a school year). I have pulled some initial info off the American School in London's web site. The school seems quite rigorous for such small children! Does anyone send their child there? My son is fairly advanced for his age, pretty much ahead of his peers in his preschool class here in the States. But the American School in London seemed to want the kids to perform at an even higher level. Makes me wonder if his application would even be accepted!
Any thoughts on preschools would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
