I'm going to court today...

What a relief! So, when do you two arrive?

Monday morning I'm flying in!!  Finally... no more ridiculous phone bills & I SWEAR I'm not sending my husband a text message for the first month I'm in the UK!!  I'm tired of having to type EVERYTHING I want to say!!  Seriously, my husband and I have only been married for six months and have spent the last 5 weeks in separate countries so I'm beyond excited about coming home to him! 

That's so exciting! Have a safe flight and let us all know how you're settling in once you get here. BTW, where are you heading? I'm in the northeast.

I'm gonna be in Salisbury.  My husband is a taxi driver there.  I've run out of things to do now to get ready... so I'm basically just counting down the hours!!

I'm resurrecting this topic because I'm a single mom, too. My son's biological father has had NOTHING to do with us ever since I told him I was pregnant. ("It ain't mine! It can't be mine!"  ) I never went after him for child support because I figured I had a pretty good chance of doing better than him... and I have!

I was very loosely in touch with some of that man's family, just in case, or so my son would know who he was if he ever got curious, someday. But, ever since I met David, I have not really contacted them. I am afraid of stirring up any trouble.

I know his father isn't interested in actually paying child support or anything, but I suspect he derives pleasure from thinking he's screwing me over... so I wouldn't want to give him any ideas!
