Temporary Housing
« on: September 21, 2005, 10:35:15 PM »
My wife and I are looking for some temp. housing for the month, since I still don't know where she will be working.  Whats the best way to find some temp housing?  Thus far craigslist has only yielded two properties, so I'm looking for more options.

Maybe a B&B ? or try checking the local newspaper for places you can rent for that alloted time? I'm not sure what your situation is exacatly so I can't give you more advice. Can you give us more info? Are you a British citizen? what part of the UK are you looking to rent in? What is your money budget you are willing to spend for the housing?

Im a US citizen in London.  Ive been here for a few weeks staying with family, but since school starts next week, I want to have a place of my own, even if it is temporary.  Im willing to go up to 200 quid a week.

Try this site. You can search for roomates in or around London. You can specify how much you are willing to pay as well.

If it's only temporary, search for self catering apartments.  They do lets for a week at a time.
