There definitely isn't as much on offer here, runner, that's true. But there is a 'healthy range' of food at most largers stores. Marks and Sparks has Count on Us, Tesco has the healthy Choice...and all of them have frozen ready meals. This is a bit different than at home where name brands are the only way to go. The store brands here are *much* better than the 'value' store brands back home.
M & S has great puddings and desserts, and some of the ready meals at Waitrose are *fantastic*.
If all else fails and I really want to see what is or isn't available in the UK, I go to any of the online shopping sites (ocado, Tesco, Asda...they all have home shopping services now) and do a search for Weight Watchers. All the products available will pop up for you so at least you know they exist! I have found in this country sometimes they just put things in really weird places and unless I knew to look for them, I would have never found 'em.
And on another subject...do you know if it is true that WW point in the US are different to points here? I got a couple of WW cookbooks on my last trip to the US 'cause they have some of the 'favorites' I grew up with...but I'm never certain about the points.
