Aer Lingus
« on: October 10, 2005, 11:25:15 AM »
Has anyone ever flown with Aer Lingus? They are really really cheap one way fares at the moment. All flights from England transfer in Dublin but right now you can fly from Birmingham to Dublin for just £1!! I bought two one way tickets  from Birmingham to Chicago and back on 16 Dec for £124 each way! Most airlines charge a fortune for one way fares!

Right! And who would have thought you could get a decent fare so close to Christmas! Often I fly Air India which is always cheap but they only fly to and from Chicago on certain days.

Yeah, we flew Aer Lingus from London to Dublin for St Patty's day.  It was ok, not bad, not exceptional.  I think it was a 1 hour flight.

My DF flew with them.  He said it was nothing compared to BMI (newspapers, monitors on the back of the seats for movies, etc.)  He said there was nothing extra but at this point I'm not willing to pay an extra £200 for all the jazz anyway... I think they're fine from what I've heard :)  And I figure so what if I get delayed a few hours... 3 hours of my time is probably worth less than £200 anyway  ;D

Right! Nothing beats BA!
Fly Air India! Talk about your 'no frills' airline! They dont even have cans of pop they just have a bunch of two litres they pour from. I dont care. Cheap cheap cheap! Plus I love Indian food! :)
