Here, I see lots of little dogs with muzzles: schnauzers, terriers, etc. Surely these are not attack dogs, so why can't their owners just train them not to bite, rather than muzzle them.
I find that it's mostly the little dogs that bite or nip at people. I had a miniature poodle when I was a kid who was completely insane due to inbreeding (his parents were purebred show dogs). He bit and attacked everyone with no warning. I still have scars on my hands and arms from where he would latch on to me with his teeth.
He attacked everyone, except my mom, and she refused to get rid of him. Big dogs seem smarter, (IMO), and usually only bite on command.
Anyway, in my experience with dogs, its the little ones are the ones who act like they have something to prove, scrapping w/other dogs & biting people.
They just crazy!
I wonder if there's any child muzzles available
No, just leashes and harnesses...
Maybe next season...
