please may i have some help
« on: November 16, 2005, 08:27:02 PM »
Hello everyone,

Firstly i just wanted to say omg thank you for this site.  ;D

It has been soo cool because i was so so worried of what we need to get done. So my fiance is coming from California to get married and live with me for a little while.. yay ;D

anyway so Ive got allot of my supporting documents together, and am filling in the application. i just have a few questions and would really appreciate some help.

1.

Question 6.14 DO you intent to work in the UK? (is that a trick questions because while someone is on the Fiance visa as far as im aware your not supposed to work) how should we answer this question please? eventually he will work when he will be allowed to.

2.

After he gets his visa, will he be able to go back out of the country with me and return within the 6 months?

OK I'm sorry, Ive had such a long day my brain has stopped working. Its getting so cold in London i think my brains frozen :P

Thanks for your time.

Lilly

Congrats, Lilly, and the best of luck.

As for question number one, you should answer it honestly. No, fiance does not intend to work. By the time he is eligible to work he will no longer be your fiance but your husband. So, in that sense, it IS a trick question.

hi lilly

Question 1- It isnt a trick question, its just asking if he is going to work in the UKin the future (after he is legal,of course) or if he isn't planning on working at all in the UK

Question 2- I'm not sure about what you are asking exacatly. The fiance visa is for multiple entires so yes he is able to leave the country while on the visa.

Thank you all for your help.

EnglandsYank may i ask you, can my fiance go back to America (before we get married) with me because we might need to go see some family together?

As you had said, its a multi entry visa i didn't know if it was before or after we get married.

Thank you kindly Lilly

Yes as long as the fiance visa is within the valid dates he can travel back to america for a visit. then after you are married you'll have to apply for the flr before the expiry date
