My *new* job!
« on: October 31, 2005, 09:29:10 PM »
I started my new job today! It went really well. I forgot how tired you are after being on your feet. I've been getting too cozy sleeping in until 10 then lounging around all day.  ;D I'm chuffed to bits.

Congrats! It's great to get settled in a good job!
I know I'm late - where's the booze?

Since they aren't open on Sundays, you get 1 day off. So you work 5 days a week. They're going to give me the Thursday off for the week of the 17th and the Monday off for that week. Sunday is ok. Friday and Saturday are going to be shifted from other weeks, so I'll be doing two 6 day weeks to make up for it. I kinda figured they'd do it that way, which is no skin off my nose. I'm just glad I'm still going.

Congrats.   Your feet will ache from standing all day, make sure you put them up when you get home each night and take time to pamper yourself with a bath sometimes - it helps ease the aches and pains away.   ;D

I'm glad you are enjoying it.  It is nice to like what you are getting paid for.
