Looking for ideas
« on: October 25, 2005, 07:01:46 AM »
We are lucky enough to be having several visitors over Christmas this year. My daughter has her 16 year old friend and her 22 year old dance teacher arriving. My parents (healthy, active 60+ year olds) will also be visiting. My parents were here only once before, we took them to London on that visit. The week between Christmas and New Year's is the week we will be looking for a trip. The trick is trying to find something that will interest both the younger and older generations. It will be the first visit to England for the younger generation so I would like something a bit traditional--with a bit of history.

I would appreciate any suggestions---(and naturally since it is Christmas time--- looking to try to keep it affordable!! )

Thanks!

Helena

We have that planned for boxing day. My mom is looking forward to boxing day in the UK and didn't have the heart to tell her that we don't do anything special on boxing day---so we thought a panto would be a fun idea!! :-)
