White Sox win the World Series !!!!!

For the first time since 1917 the Sox have swept the Astros 4 games straight!!!!!  I wish I was in  Chicago for the celebration.

That is just so cool!  Who is next!!!??  Come on we need another team that has not won for almost 100 years!  (Don't tell my dad I said this I always go for the underdog when the Yankees are out of it)

OMG, I was crying when the last out was called!  You really should be here!!!!!!!      I think I'm going to order Home Run Inn tonight to celebrate!   

I am SO excited and I cannot believe it's really happened!!  I am so jealous of everyone's who's there celebrating in the greatest city ever!

I cracked a bottle of wine after the Sox won -- some of my co-workers got to go down to the parade and hand out promotional merchandise, but I couldn't go because I'm just a consultant!

As a native Houstonian and Astros fan, I can't say I was thrilled with the outcome!  :\\\'( I can't believe we got swept like that in our first ever WS appearance. And, more importantly, I can't believe I stayed up until 5:00 am every night to watch! Houston sports teams really are cursed. . . .

But, having said that, I think its great that the Sox won the WS! I used to live in Chicago, and it always seemed like the Sox were the red headed step-children of the city. Glad to see them finally have their day in the sun! Congrats White Sox fans!

(And here's to the 'Stros finally winning the darn thing next year!  )
