Seeking Wheaties (Really!)
« on: November 04, 2005, 12:47:38 PM »
Hello!

I'm new to the site, though I've been in the UK about 1 1/2 years now.

I'm looking for 'Wheaties', if the box still carries the 'Breakfast of Champions' slogan. A coworker here asked me the other day where that line had come from (I was eating a Bad Boy Pot Noodle for breakfast in the office and ironically said, 'see, breakfast of champions!').

So I told her that Wheaties came up with the slogan, and now she wants a box for her two young boys. Go figger.

Any ideas?

I'm going to be going to a local shop that sells lots of American products in St Johns Wood (Panzers).  If you're not nearby, I can check for you...

Why, thank you! If you could see whether Panzers has 'Wheaties' I'd be obliged. Let me know what you find.

Thanks again!
