Christmas Chocolates
« on: November 08, 2005, 12:56:03 PM »
For Christmas Jon and I always get us a large tin of chocolates to eat during the festive season. One year it was Celebrations (which incidentally we had until the next year), one year it was Terry's Chocolates, last year it was Quality Street. This year, who knows.

Does anyone else do this? I quite like it. It's become Christmas tradition for us, along with finding a really great advent calendar, we get the Christmas choccies.

Why not try 'Roses' this year?  This season, I'm tucking a Cadbury Chocolate Button in the advent calender for Aillidh.  She's at that age where Christmas is a magical time, so we're looking forward to decorating and going the whole hog.

I know it's not chocolates, but I miss those gigantic tins of flavored pop corn. Wonder if Cosco does them.....?

It's usually Quality Street or Celebrations or both.

Ashley...  Thorntons!
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering

Ooh, that's quite posh. I like Thorntons but it's sometimes just a bit too rich for me.

I love going in every once in a blue moon & just picking up one of their smallish bags -- might be 2 quid (or so) for about 10 bonbons (or so).  It is soooo worth it though. ;D

Cadbury's Roses are fantastic! You can get a huge tin for about £7.00 I think.

Also, if you like cookies, Marks & Spencer's do alot of different kinds. We got a box last Xmas and it didn't last long! :)

We do this too, back from the days when it was a luxury to have a large tin for the family.

Happily, I just found a large jar of Quality Street in B.J's here in the U.S so looks like we'll have to share this year  >:(
