Chocolate Challenge !!
« on: November 23, 2005, 10:57:42 AM »
This is the oddest challenge I have been given but here goes:

I'm helping out the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's charity with their Christmas event. On December 15 they will be having their "GOSH It's Christmas party" this is a party for the children at Great Ormond street Hospital. This is for 1,000 of patients , their brothers and sisters.

I'll be helping out at the party as yes you guessed it "an elf"  ;D

So I asked what is needed for the event and the organizer said :

Quote
if you are able to locate 800-1000 bags of chocolate coins we still really need those!

So I need raise 800+ bags of gold coins so You guys wanna help me sorted!;D

I have approached my  cohort , my daughter's school and others ...fingers crossed !!

I've approached Sainsbury's and they were not interested in helping :P

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

It might be worth trying the Co-op, who are usually more community minded. http://www.co-op.co.uk/

Don't know if it will be any use, but I found Marks and Spencers to be the most generous donater in a recent P.T.A. fundraising drive. The Coopearative food stores also like to get involved with local charities or how about an appeal on your local radio station? Just a few ideas, Good Luck !
