French Fried Onions?
« on: November 23, 2005, 01:52:47 PM »
Hi Guys

This may be a daft question, but I want to make Green bean casserole for Turkey Day tomorrow and I have no clue if I can get the fried onion topping here.  Can you get the fried onions here? What are they called and where from?

thanks!!!

I get Danfood Onion Salad Crispies from Sainsbury's.  They are in the section with the canned veggies in my store!  Taste just like the French's Onions to me.  :)

i think they taste *better* than the US ones!
Clear tub with a red lid... and like JessicaAnne said, it's normally with the canned vegetables.
They also do a CHEESE flavoured one (yellow lid)!!

Ooh, I haven't seen the cheese-flavored ones at my Sainsbury's!  I loved the cheese-flavored French's onions.
