I make it w/Marigold veggie bouillion.  Can of puy lentils, sauteed red onion, black olives and artichokes.  Serve warm w/grated parm cheese.

Oooh, that sounds lovely! I usually only ever do couscous cold as a salad. My problem is that I like it too much, though. Once I start eating it, there's no stopping me!

Just a heads up to everyone: Weight Watchers Moroccan Chicken & Couscous is not a substitute for the real deal.  [smiley=bleck.gif]

DH did something the other day with couscous, harissa paste and lemon juice and it was unbelievable. I'll have to ask him exactly what it was.

I've been tempted to buy harissa paste, but I am not sure what exactly to do with it  :-\\\\

It's definitely worth playing around with! We spread it on chicken and fish, mix it in with pasta, and dh does this magic couscous thing with it. It's quite hot, but in a nice way.  :)

When I dated a Syrian guy (donkeys years ago--I was 21...OMG, that's half my life ago :-[), he did something with couscous & beef mince, onions, Middle Eastern spices, and I think it even had some kind of nuts in it.  Sort of like a meat loaf I guess -- it's been so long.  But it was good!
